The starting point

Island Thrills Watersports ran on an old Webflow website and on paper. There was no booking flow, no automation and no WhatsApp contact on the site. At the beach every booking, every guest and every boat was tracked by hand on paper. The old technology was slow and hard to keep secure, so the business was poorly visible on Google and in AI assistants.

Before
  • Hard to keep secure
  • No booking flow on the website
  • No automation
  • 100% manual work on paper at the beach
  • No WhatsApp communication on the site
  • Poor visibility because of old, unoptimized technology
The software

One system for the website, the booking and the beach

The team works with a mobile PWA on phone and tablet: today’s bookings, guests, revenue and utilisation at a glance, check-in by QR code like at the airport, calendar, slots and inventory, instructors, resources and customers. Guest names in the screenshots are blurred.

What we delivered

  • Ultra-fast website

Lighthouse performance 100. Built lean instead of patched on top of a slow old website.

  • Built for sales, in 9 languages

Copy and page structure follow how guests decide and book, and every guest reads it in their own language.

  • Technical SEO and AEO

Clean semantics, structured data and answer-ready content for Google and AI assistants.

  • Found by AI

Optimised so AI agents can read and use the site. Lighthouse Agentic Browsing: 3 of 3.

  • CMS for fast content changes

  • Own, secure booking management

Every booking is stored in the system including its full history. Nothing gets lost on a paper list.

Jet skis, boats and other equipment are managed as assets, with utilisation shown per unit.

  • Automated booking rules

Availability, slots and holds are handled by rules inside the booking flow instead of by hand.

  • QR check-in like on a flight

Guests show a QR code, the team scans it, the booking is checked in. No searching through lists.

  • WhatsApp shortcut to guests

Direct communication with guests via WhatsApp, one tap from the website and from the app.

  • Mobile PWA for the beach

Fast and stress-free work on phone and tablet, right where the guests are.

  • Secure by design

Custom-built instead of a plugin stack, with a Best Practices score of 100.

Roadmap

Version 1.1 is live. 1.2 and 1.3 follow step by step.

In the 2027 season further optimisations follow. Versions 1.2 and 1.3 are launched step by step, so the work gets even easier and the team can focus even more on its guests. The goal: no more staff and no more cost, but smart technology that automates the standard processes.

  1. v1.1Live

    Website, booking and beach app

Website in 9 languages, booking management with history, asset management, booking rules, QR check-in, WhatsApp shortcut and the mobile PWA.

  2. v1.2Season 2027

    More automation of standard processes

Further optimisations that take routine work off the team. Scope is agreed with the client before each launch.

  3. v1.3Season 2027

    Even less manual work

Rolled out step by step after 1.2, so the business grows without growing the payroll.

What the client had to do

The team told us how the beach runs day to day: which tours, boats and jet skis, which rules apply and what guests ask. We turned that into software. Now the team works from phone and tablet instead of paper.

Hosting & operations

Hosting and operation of the platform are handled by RevenueWorks, including the updates for the next versions.
